Enclomiphene
in Tyler, TX
RAISE YOUR OWN TESTOSTERONE. KEEP YOUR FERTILITY.
Enclomiphene is a daily pill that prompts your body to make more of its own testosterone, instead of replacing it from the outside. Your testes stay switched on, your sperm production stays intact, and you don't commit to lifelong injections.
Serving men in Tyler, Longview, and East Texas.
IS ENCLOMIPHENE RIGHT FOR YOU?
Symptoms of Low Testosterone
- Fatigue
- Diminished motivation and depressed mood
- Decline in mental clarity
- Decreased libido, sex drive, and sexual performance
- Lower quality of erections
- Weight gain, increased body fat, especially abdominal fat
- Failure to increase muscle mass
Where Enclomiphene Specifically Fits
- You want children now or later, and don't want to suppress fertility
- Your testosterone is low-normal rather than severely deficient
- You'd rather take a daily pill than inject
- You aren't ready to commit to lifelong therapy
- You're coming off TRT and want to recover natural production
- Your labs point to the brain's signaling rather than the testicles
If any of these sound familiar, you're not alone — and you don't have to accept it. A simple lab draw is all it takes to find out where you stand, and which of the two approaches actually fits you.

How Enclomiphene Raises Your Testosterone
A small region in your brain called the hypothalamus constantly monitors your hormone levels. Enclomiphene blocks the estrogen signal that tells your brain to slow testosterone production down.
Your brain reads that as a cue to ramp up. It releases more of two messenger hormones, LH and FSH, into your bloodstream. Those travel to your testes, where LH tells the Leydig cells to produce testosterone and FSH supports the cells that make sperm.
Your own supply chain does the work, from brain to testes — enclomiphene simply takes the brake off. Because the testosterone comes from your own system, the rise is self-regulating and tends to stay in a healthy range rather than spiking.

Enclomiphene or TRT — How to Choose
Both work. They suit different men. Enclomiphene amplifies a system that's already working. TRT overrides that system, which gives faster and more complete relief for men with significant deficiency.
| Enclomiphene | TRT | |
|---|---|---|
| Fertility | Preserved | Suppressed |
| Best for | Low-normal T, want children | Significant deficiency |
| How you take it | Daily pill | Injection |
| Speed of relief | Gradual, self-regulating | Faster, fully controlled |
| Cost at Optima | $150 start, $150/mo | $150 start, $150/mo |
Price isn't the variable here. Which one fits depends on your labs, your symptoms, and whether fertility is a priority right now. If it isn't, our testosterone replacement program gives faster and more complete relief — and either way, that's a conversation with your provider, not a checkbox.
LIFE CHANGING RESULTS. REAL PROVIDERS.
Enclomiphene works with the system you already have rather than around it. At Optima, your plan is built by Daniel Black, FNP-C or Travis Squyres, FNP-C — the two owners of the clinic, not a call center and not a rotating roster of strangers. They read your labs themselves, and they’re the ones you see at follow-up.
Your own testosterone, raised by your own body
Fertility preserved while you treat the symptoms
A daily pill — no injections, no clinic visits required
Nothing to taper off, because it’s your own production being raised
This isn’t a subscription box. It’s a treatment program run by the two providers who actually treat you.
ENCLOMIPHENE QUESTIONS FROM TYLER AND EAST TEXAS PATIENTS
-
Clomid (clomiphene citrate) is a mixture of two isomers — enclomiphene and zuclomiphene. Enclomiphene is the isomer that raises testosterone. Zuclomiphene clears slowly and is associated with more of the mood and visual side effects men report on Clomid. Enclomiphene isolates the useful half.
-
No. Enclomiphene is not FDA-approved for any indication — the approval path stalled after Complete Response Letters in 2009, 2012 and 2015. Licensed clinicians prescribe it off-label based on existing clinical evidence, and it's dispensed through compounding pharmacies the FDA does not review for safety, effectiveness or quality. Off-label prescribing is legal and common in medicine, but you should know the regulatory status plainly rather than assume it carries the same approval that backs standard TRT.
-
That's one of its main advantages. Because it works by raising your own LH and FSH rather than replacing testosterone, sperm production stays intact. In trials, sperm counts stayed above the WHO normal limit in 90% of men. TRT does the opposite — most men reach very low sperm counts within 12 to 24 weeks.
-
These are generally alternatives rather than a combination. TRT suppresses the LH and FSH signal that enclomiphene works through, so pairing them doesn't do what most men assume. Your provider will talk through what makes sense for your labs and your goals. -
For the right man, yes. A pivotal trial found testosterone from daily enclomiphene was non-inferior to transdermal testosterone, with sperm production holding steady rather than dropping. It is not a replacement for every man — if your testicles themselves aren't producing, amplifying the brain signal won't help.
-
$150 for your initial labs and consultation, then $150 per month. The monthly price covers your prescription, follow-up visits and follow-up lab work. We're cash-pay and don't bill insurance.
-
No. It's month to month and you can stop whenever you want. There's no 3, 6 or 12-month plan to lock into, and no discount dangled for committing longer than you're comfortable with. If it isn't working for you, you stop.
-
A full panel, not just a testosterone number: FSH and LH, total testosterone, free testosterone, SHBG, estradiol, CBC, CMP, TSH, PSA and a lipid panel.
FSH and LH are the two that matter most before you start. Low testosterone alongside low gonadotropins means the problem sits in your brain's signaling rather than the testicles — that's the situation enclomiphene is built for, and it's also the result that needs a second look to make sure nothing is going on in the pituitary itself. Thyroid, blood count and metabolic markers rule out the other common causes of the same symptoms, and PSA is a baseline safety check. We don't repeat FSH and LH at follow-up: enclomiphene is supposed to raise them, so the result wouldn't tell your provider anything new.
-
Most men notice changes in energy and mood within the first several weeks. Your provider will set expectations based on your labs and your starting point.
-
Generally milder than Clomid because the zuclomiphene isomer is removed. Your provider will review the full picture with you before you start, and follow-up labs track how you're responding.
-
Daniel Black, FNP-C or Travis Squyres, FNP-C — the two owners of the clinic. The provider who reviews your labs is the same one you see at follow-up.
-
Yes. Visits are real-time video and the prescription ships to your door. Lab work is the only part that needs a sample: our Tyler clinic, any CPL location near you, or an at-home lab kit for an additional fee.
